In Romania, approvals and authorizations are required depending on the object to be activated. Obligations are rarely forgiven and fines can reach hundreds of thousands of lei. Listed below are some of the required:
- Environment authorization;
- Apele Romane Authorization;
- Autorizatie ISU (Romanian General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations);
- PRAM authorization;
- Sanitary authorization
- Authorizations from the town hall;
- Customs Authorization (EORI);
- Police clearance;
- Authorization for street advertising; (a poster placed outside the location, of any kind)
- Authorization H.A.C.C.P.
You need occupational safety and health services (OSH) and fire prevention and extinguishing (PSI)
- Occupational medicine must be done before hiring (even if you are employed by your company).
- Intra-community activities? You need a VAT Code (registration in the register of intra-Community operators - as he used to call it). Are you a non-VAT payer and have a European customer? You need a VAT Code.
- Import goods from outside the EU or from the EU: you must report the packaging monthly to the AFM.
- Do you bring environmentally hazardous substances to Romania? You need an AFM notification.
- Licenses for streaming music? For any music placed in your business location there are notices to be obtained.
